Tammie Lou Heim (Simpson), age 56, of Pell Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, following a brave battle with lung cancer.  Daughter of Karen Larsen, Tammie was born in Burlington, WI on April 1, 1965. When she was 17 years old, she met the love of her life, William Heim, whom she would later marry. Tammie was strong of faith, spirit, and will. Friends and family knew her as an excellent caregiver, who would do anything for someone in need. She was self-employed as a house cleaner and caretaker, and consistently went above and beyond for her clients. Tammie was a positive presence who loved life and would always look for a silver lining.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in the yard and planting flowers in the spring. She was also known for decorating her home for every holiday and spoiling her beloved feline friend, Sweet Pea.

Tammie is survived by her husband, William Heim; daughter, Tiffini (James Panozzo) Heim; mother, Karen Larsen; sister, Tina (Steve) Luberda; brother, Tommy Birdd; niece, Danielle Luberda; nephews, Justin Luberda and Ian Earle; great-nieces, Leila and Gwen Luberda;  and many beloved friends. William wishes to extend a heart-felt and sincere thank you to Tina and Danielle for their assistance and support in Tammie's cancer treatments.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 12:00PM until 4:00PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes, WI. In following Tammie's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tammie's honor can be made to Lakeland Animal Shelter, PO Box 1000, Elkhorn, WI 53121
