Terry L. Goodman, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at the age of 73 in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. Born on December 6, 1952, in North Carolina.
A proud member of the United States Navy, Terry served his country with honor, embodying the dedication and spirit that defined his character. Following his military service, he brought joy to countless lives through his unique profession as a professional clown, known affectionately as Howdy the Clown. His vibrant personality shone brightly as he entertained children and adults alike, always bringing laughter and cheer to those around him.
Beyond his role as a clown, Terry was an inventive spirit with a boundless imagination. He loved to create and invent, and his dreams of singing in Nashville showcased his artistic aspirations. A lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears, he often shared his enthusiasm for the team with his family and friends. Terry also cherished his time as a past member of the American Legion in Urbana, Illinois, where he connected with fellow veterans and contributed to the community.
Terry's legacy is carried on by his loving family. He is survived by his son, Terrance Travis Keith, and his daughter, Gena (Jesse) Rodriquez. He is also remembered by his brothers, Billy R. Goodman (Eurlinda), Justin Goodman, Jimmy L. Goodman (Patricia), and Thomas D. Goodman (Sharon), as well as his sister, Donna Goodman. Terry is preceded in death by his brother, George L. Goodman, whose memory will forever be part of the family narrative.
Terry L. Goodman will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His contributions to laughter, creativity, and love will resonate in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Goodman family.
