Theodore D. McMillan

Theodore “Ted” D. McMillan, age 81, of Richland Center, WI, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at home, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Ted was born in Richland Center in February 1945. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1963. He married Louise Nelson in 1965; she proceeded him in death in 1980. He was a graduate of UW-Whitewater Class of 71’ where he achieved a BA degree. He was the manager of Wickes Lumber, Elkhorn WI. He moved to Cape Coral Florida in in 1984 and married Georgia Hilegenthal in October 1985. They enjoyed their years in Florida and returned to Wisconsin in 2011. Ted enjoyed the game of golf and met many friends through that sport. He also enjoyed watching any Wisconsin team Badgers, Brewers, Bucks and Packers.

Theodore is survived by his children, Kristin McMillan and Thomas (Stacie) McMillan; grandchildren, Emma (Adam) Sommerfeld and Thomas (Jessica) McMillan; sister-in-law, Debra Roesner and many beloved friends and extended family.

Theodore is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia McMillan; parents, Keith and Evelyn McMillan, brothers, James & David McMillan and grandson, Drew McLernon.
