Thomas R. Miller, 88, of Silver Lake, WI., passed away surrounded by love and family, on July 27th, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center, in Burlington WI. Thomas was born in Chicago, IL., on November 13th, 1937, to his parents LeRoy, and Catherine (Conlin) Miller. Thomas married the love of his life Allison (Longmore) Miller on March 22nd, 1986 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, WI.
Thomas can be described as a lot of things, but none higher than being an amazing husband, father, provider, and man, just all around. Thomas was not only a teacher of lessons in life, but also skill, ever the tinker, and always fixing something, because of this Thomas had a great number of friends. Thomas also loved to travel, especially to Hawaii to visit family. Thomas was also a fighter, he constantly fought for the last 27 years against various cancers, all while being in good spirits, and a smile on his face.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Allison Miller, his children; Tiare (Bobbie) Martin, Reri Ohai, Kimberly Miller, Tommy Miller, and Ashley (Luke) Warkenthien. He is further survived by his sister, Judith Miller. Thomas is also survived by his grandchildren; Amber (Michael), Tiare (Gerry), Cierra, Madelynn, Teagan, and Brenden, as well as his 6 great grandchildren.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Lisa Ohai, his siblings Marilyn Vogenthaler, and Patricia Planka, grandsons Christopher, and Jeremai Lockwood.

A mass of Christian burial, will be held for Thomas on July 31st, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Johns Evangelical Church 701 N. Lake Ave. Twin Lakes, WI., 53181. A visitation for Thomas will happen at the same location from 10:00 A.M. until the time of mass. We at Haase-Lockwood & Associates are proud to have served the Miller family.
