Transito J. Contreras age 77 of Bloomfield, WI died March 16, 2025.  He was born in Michoacan, Mexico on August 13, 1947.  The son of the late Jeremias Contreras and Sofia Jacobo.  On April 8, 1972, in Mexico he was united in marriage to Maria C. Garcia.

During his early years he was a baseball pitcher and loved to watch baseball on tv and in person, go Cubs and Brewers.  His greatest joy came from spending time with his seven grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Maria.  Father of Sandra (Antonio) Porras and Jorge (Yolanda) Contreras.  Grandfather of Elizabeth (Dominic), Abigail, Jorge, Abner, Natalie, Reyli and Kevin.  Survived by his siblings Isaac (Theresa) Contreras, Manuel (Isaura) Contreras and Gisela Aguilera.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 28, 2025, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.

Visitation will also be held on Saturday at St. John's the Ev. Catholic Church 701 N Lake Ave. Twin Lakes, WI from 10:00AM until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025, at 11:00AM at St. John's the Ev. Catholic Church.  Burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery.
