Obituary
Venice Meech, age 99, of the township of Sullivan, passed away on December 20, 2014, at the Masonic Center for Health and Rehab. in Dousman.
Venice was born on October 25, 1915, the daughter of the late Cecil and Lottie (Ewins) Meracle. She married Victor Meech and together they raised 2 sons on the family farm in the town of Sullivan. Venice was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and The Order of the Eastern Star.
Venice is survived by her sons, Dave of Sullivan and Russell (Janice) of Dousman. Grandchildren Mellanie (Joe) Mercier, Kevin (Caroline) Meech, Craig (Jeannine) Meech, Bryan Meech, Jason (Jenn) Meech, and Michelle Lemke. Great-grandchildren Andrew, Jennifer, Jonathan, and Nathan.
Venice was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; sisters, Verna and Edna; and grandson, Andy Lemke.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 27th, from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Haase Lockwood & Associates Funeral home 320 W. Main St. Palmyra, WI with Pastor Laura Nordstrom officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
