Veronica "Connie" Helen Cook

Veronica “Connie” H. Cook age 97 of Elkhorn, WI died on Monday February 9, 2026 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center of Elkhorn, WI. Connie was the daughter of the late John and Ellen (Quincannon) Finley, and was born in Elkhorn, WI on September 23, 1928. Connie was united in marriage to Earl J. Cook on June 20, 1953 in Elkhorn, WI; they shared 43 years together until the time of his passing in 1996. Connie was a prayer warrior and built a very strong foundation of faith and dedication to her church. Her family was her life, and she was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Connie is survived by her children; Patti (John) Obligato, Mary (Michael) Poirier, Tom (Corey) Cook; daughter-in-law; Sarah Cook; grandchildren; Kate, John, Elizabeth, Joseph “Joe”, Meghan, Bridget, Joseph, John Paul, Therese, Nick, Jennifer, Abby; great-grandchildren; Lucas, Jacob, Emma, Catherine, Max, Henry, Eddie; very dear family member; Robin Sawyers; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son; Robert “Bob”; brothers; Jack, Francis, Robert, Lawrence, Finley; and sisters; Mary North and Margaret Labant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI at 12 Noon on Thursday February 12, 2026. Visitation will take place before Mass beginning at 10:00AM. Connie will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Elkhorn, WI.
