Wesley E. Lane, age 82, of Elkhorn, WI and formerly of Genoa City, WI, died Monday morning November 14, 2016 at Holton Manor, in Elkhorn, WI.

Wesley Eugene Lane was born on March 3, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Carl R. and Ingaborg Johnson Lane.  Wesley lived in Elgin, IL before moving to Genoa City in 1995.

Wesley worked  for Norwood Transport in Elgin, IL and then for Nettleton Specialized Carriers in Genoa City.  Wesley loved his work.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR.

He is survived by: a brother, Raymond C. Lane of Lake Okeechobee, FL and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters-Faye Schaal and Dolores Sax and his special friend, Christine Lane.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:30AM Saturday November 19, 2016 in the chapel of Holton Manor, 645 N. Church St. Elkhorn, WI.  Memorial remembrances in Wesley's name may be made to the Little People of America, 250 El Camino Real, Suite 218, Tustin, CA 92780.  The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City is handling arrangements.
