Wesley Nelson, 72 of Elkhorn, WI, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home in Elkhorn, WI. He was born January 27, 1949 in Gary, IN, the son of the late Marvin and Naomi (Paulsen) Nelson.  Wes graduated from Elkhorn Area High School with the Class of 1967.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.   Wes was a self employed carpenter.  He enjoyed bowling and achieved the honor of bowling a "300" game.  Wes an avid card player and enjoyed his occasional trips to the casino.  He is survived by his sister: Sherry Plucinski of Elkhorn, WI Two sisters-in-law; Jeanette Nelson-Milleson and Joan Nelson and by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his sister; Karen Dinsmore and his 3 brothers; Dale, Bryan and Jeffery Nelson.  A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 19th, at the Real MacCoy, N1431 County Highway N, Whitewater.  On-line guestbook can be found at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.  Arrangements completed by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI.
