William "Bill" Earnest Walker, 71 of Unity, OR formerly of Sibley, IL, Elkhorn, WI, Gypsum, CO, and White Bird, ID, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at St. Alphonsus Regional Hospital.  He was born April 4, 1952, the son of Cecil and Ella Mae (Brown) Walker.  Bill graduated from Elkhorn High School and later was self employed as a master plumber. Bill is survived by his brother, Jim Walker, niece, Kim Nash-Walker, great-niece, Sylvia Steinhauer, great-great-niece, Layla Jolly, cousins, Larry, Cherry, Linda, Steve and Mike.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Tom Walker (Vietnam), sister-in-law, Sharon Walker, and niece, Kerry Steinhauer. Bill had a fondness for nature, wildlife, and especially mountains.  Per his request, a small group will meet later at Bill's favorite mountain spot near Unity to spread his ashes.
