William W. Engels, SR  77, of Whitewater, WI died Thursday July 28, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital Janesville, WI.  Bill was born August 24, 1944 in Yonkers, New York the son of the late Robert L. and Barbara A. Engels.  He served in the US Army form 1961 until 1965.  He worked for many years as a carpenter with RDG of Illinois.  Bill was a talented carpenter and wood worker who liked building anything with wood.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  Bill is survived by his four children: William Engels Jr of St. Charles, MO, Rebecca (David) Narramore of Hannibal , MO, Amanda (Jesse) Matzke of Whitewater, WI and Jason Engels of Whitewater, WI, and by his fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, his three sisters: Susan (Ray) Phillips of DeKalb, IL, Sharon (Giorgio) Vidali of Taylor, KS, and Sarah Wagner of Crystal Lake, IL and by his brother Donald (Diane) Engels of Beloit, WI and by a host of other relatives and friends.  Bill was preceded in death by his brother Robert.

Graveside service with military honors will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday August 2, 2022 at Millard Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at the Walworth Inn W5296 County Road A from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.   Online guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
