William 'Bill' Harvey Richter, 59, of Milwaukee, Wis. passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. He was born February 19, 1955, the son of Harvey and the late Barbara (Widman) Richter.
Bill was born and raised in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1973 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to study architecture. He returned to Twin Lakes and built homes with his father for more than 10 years before moving to Milwaukee where he worked for the city of Milwaukee as a building inspector. He loved his job and the city of Milwaukee. His co-workers remarked there is probably not a bar in the city that he has not inspected.
Bill's love of architecture was evident in his career and led him around the country visiting landmarks and famous homes, especially Frank Lloyd Wright. He was also an avid collector. Bill is perhaps most remembered for his love of Coca Cola
