William "Bud" K. Nass, 94 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at St. Camillus Health Center in Wauwatosa, WI. He was born January 7, 1922 in Appleton, WI, the son of Edward and Hilda Nass. Bud served in the United States Army during WWII. Bud was a Little League coach, Boy Scout leader and along with his wife a foster parent for many years. He loved golfing, the Green Bay Packers, and spending as much time as possible with his grandsons. Bud is survived by his three children; Sandra Nass, Randall (Jane Glynn-Nass) Nass and Patti Thompson (Ken) Witkofski, three grandsons; Thomas, Tyler and Timothy Nass, all of whom he taught to golf. He is also survived by two sisters; Sylvia Hofpensberger and Hilda Verbeten. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie (Marge), parents, and many siblings. Funeral service 4:00PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes, 730 N Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor Kurt Verhoeven officiating. Visitation 2:00PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
