William "Bill" L. Jacobs Jr, 89, formerly of Lake Geneva, WI and Mountain View, MO, died on Friday, February 27, 2015 in Park Falls, WI. Bill was born on March 30, 1925 in Hebron, IL the son of the late William and Fern (Latham) Jacobs Sr. He was united in marriage to Ila Mae Krietlow on September 8, 1948 in Pittsville, WI she died October 12, 2014. Over the years Bill worked for Nyland Service Station of Lake Como, Big Foot Packing Company of Big Foot IL and Skrudlund Photo Service of Lake Geneva, WI retiring in 1982. Bill and Ila Mae owned and operated the Cardinal Cabins Motel of Lake Geneva for over 14 years. Bill enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, traveling, hunting and archery; he was past president of the Big Foot Archery Club. Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family who include his three children; Mike Jacobs and Louise (Patrick) Ohlrich both of Park Falls, WI and Leslie Jacobs of Jackson, WY, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 66 years, Ila Mae and his sister Lylace Hawkinson. Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2015 at Roselawn Memory Gardens Chapel corner of Hwy 50 & 67 Lake Geneva, WI with Rev. Dr. Scott McLeod officiating.
