Obituary
William A. Moore age 93 of Twin Lakes, WI died Tuesday morning May 6, 2014 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva, WI.
William was born on November 16, 1920 in Bloomington, IL the son of the late Archibald A. and Susie E. Attridge Moore. He served in the U.S. Navy from October 24, 1942 until discharge on December 15, 1945 as an Aviation Machinist Mate 1C. He served in the South Pacific.
He formerly worked as a typesetter for United Rubber Die and Engravers in Elk Grove Village retiring in 1968. He lived in Wonder Lake and Richmond, IL. before moving to Twin Lakes in 1995. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond. He was also a member of the Twin Lakes American Legion Post #544, the McHenry Masonic Lodge #158 and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
William is survived by his daughter-Joyce (Robert) Fish of McHenry, IL; 6 grandchildren and many grandchildren; ½ brother Arnold Moore.
He was preceded in death by 2 daughters-Doreen and Lynn; 1 son-William and 1 sister Shirley Messamore.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM Thursday May 8, 2014 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Twin Lakes, WI with Pastor Andy Tyrell of Grace Lutheran Church officiating.
