Wilma Louise Barrett, 82, of Genoa City passed from her earthly bonds on May 29, 2015 at Geneva Lake Manor, surrounded by her loving daughters. Wilma was born February 19, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee, the only child of Veco & Katie (Eakes) Linder. She spent her early life in Tennessee and the Chicago, Illinois area. After her marriage to Donald Steinbring in 1951, they settled in Berwyn Illinois. Wilma worked at Lincoln Federal Savings & Loan in Berwyn for many years as she raised her family. Wilma retired to Woodbury, Tennessee in 1991, where she volunteered at local hospitals. In 2005 Wilma moved to Genoa City, Wisconsin to live with her daughter Donna and her family. Wilma enjoyed her grandchildren, dancing, Elvis Presley music, and, of course, a good cheeseburger. Wilma is survived by her four children: Katherine Steinbring of St. Charles, Illinois; Donna (Patrick) Sherman of Genoa City, Wisconsin; David (Sherry)  Steinbring of Naples, Florida; and Lynn Fuqua of Murfreesboro,Tennessee. Wilma is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A private funeral will be held. The family would like to thank Dr. Kristen Cassidy, Reverend Mark Gundersen, and all the staff at Geneva Lake Manor for making her last year full of love and dignity.
