Obituary

Alan E. Dobbert, Age 97, passed away on August 11, 2023. He was born on September 6, 1925 in Elkhorn, WI, the son of the late Paul and Myrtle (Schultz) Dobbert. Alan and his wife, Dorothy, were united in marriage in Elkhorn, WI, on October of 1951. He was Quality Control and Machinist for 27 years at Beloit Corporation. He enjoyed taking care of his personal family park, gardening, feeding and watching birds and enjoyed to do puzzles. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from October 5, 1943 to March 24, 1946. He is missed deeply by his family.

He is survived by his four children; Don (Diana) Dobbert, Bob (Becky) Dobbert, Ken (Evelyn) Dobbert and Linda Delvis, his seven grandchildren; Jessica, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Joseph, Nicholas, Gerry and Tammy, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Dorothy, grandson; David, granddaughters; Melanie and Stacey, great-granddaughter; Kaitlyn, one brother, two sisters, and his former spouse; Alma.

A service will be held at Roselawn Memory Gardens, 3045 WI-67, Lake Geneva, WI, on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:00AM. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI, is assisting the family. Online condolences can be left at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
