Anne Blaha Obituary

Anne E. Blaha, age 62, of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away in the comfort of her home after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Daughter of the late Wilbur E. Blaha and Gertrude M. Krummel, Anne was born on October 4, 1959 in Two Rivers, WI. Before retiring, Anne worked at Badger High School for over 20 years. Anne could be described as a strong, independent woman with a bit of a stubborn side. She loved chickens and roosters, camping, and fishing—even though she preferred to enlist someone else to bait the hook and remove the fish. Anne was always there for her daughters, and was a very loving Grandma.

Anne is survived by her daughters, Kristina (Ian) Sommer of Kenosha, WI and Kaitlyn Haines of Lake Geneva, WI; grandchildren, Jayden Haines and Baby Boy Haines on the way; and her brother, Thomas Blaha of Bowling Green, KY. In death, she is reunited with her parents, Wilbur and Gertrude Blaha.
