Carol Ann Glenn, 74, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021. She was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter to the late Frederick and Genevieve (Rapacz) Hartman. Carol was united in marriage to Dale Glenn on February 14, 1988 in Chicago, IL. They built their lives together accomplishing many goals, including having the lake house of their dreams, located on Lauderdale Lakes in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Many happy memories of family and friends getting together, laughing, loving, and playing brought her much joy.
Carol loved her family dearly. They meant the world to her, and she was always there for them. She loved talking with people and being a part of their lives. She enjoyed being surrounded by children and teaching them. She expressed herself through photography, writing, and painting. Carol also played the piano, danced, and appreciated music. She welcomed in plenty of sunshine, and she let that vibrant, radiant light shine through her. She put her hope and faith in God, and was involved in her church and believed in the power of prayer.
Carol is survived by her sister, Lorraine Salava, husband of 33 years, Dale, two children; Laura (Mark) Peppers of Davis, IL, and Paul (Ann Marie) Bakun of Plainfield, IL, fourteen grandchildren; Rebecca, Joshua (Elizabeth), Anthony, Mark Jr. (Joanna), Naomi (Eean), Austin, William (Sarah), Elisabeth, Kyle (Julianna), Esther, Katlyn, Gregory, Joseph, and Samuel, twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred Hartman.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm until service time Monday, September 27, 2021 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.
