Christine C. (Estes) Handle

December 7, 1955 ~ February 6, 2021 (age 65)

Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Christine Carol Handle. Christine passed away early morning this past Saturday; peacefully in her sleep and beside a loved one. Christine was born in 1955 to Jack and Mary Estes, a loving couple that loved her as they did her 4 siblings, William, Jack Jr, Barbara, and John.

She was a dedicated grandmother first and foremost, and loved her role as Nana. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh and feel loved.

Christine was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important - the simplicity of living with those you love. Her acute awareness of the value of living with the ones you love over any material possession was only handicapped by her attachment to the kitchen and all it contained.

Of all the people she touched, her most proud achievement in life was marrying her husband, Lewis R. Handle, who supported her in all her glory during her heyday, and whom she lovingly supported physically and mentally during their last days together.

Predeceased by her loving parents, Jack C. Estes Sr and Mary Ann Estes, and her siblings, John T. Estes and Barbara A. Haury.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Lewis R. Handle; her daughters, April Tudor and Tanya Handle; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Angelina, and Joseph Tudor; and her brothers, William and Jack C. Estes Jr.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”  - Matthew 11:28
