Christopher "Chris" A. Lewis

Christopher A. Lewis, 57 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on October 22, 2023 at Froedtert Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.  He was born September 14, 1966 in Freeport, IL.  Chris was married to Robin Rodilosso on January 7, 2017.  He had a very deep faith and loved to serve God.  Chris was a member and volunteered at Lakeland Community Church where he helped with the various ministries. 

He had a heart for Kasajja Emmanuel’s ministry in Uganda. He and Kasajja would video chat when Chris was doing his studies. Chris interviewed Kasajja for several school projects. Kasajja shared that Chris contributed funds to complete the purchase of land for his church in Uganda.

Chris served in the United States Army.  He always had a spot in his heart for other veterans and homeless individuals and wanted to help them in any way he could.  Chris was a simple man who loved God, his family, his country and his church. One of his final accomplishments was to finish his Bachelors Degree in Christian Ministry, which he did in August 2023.

Chris is survived by his wife, Robin, their five children: Matthew, Courtney, Bryan, Erik, and Taylor, his siblings: Mike (Bev) Campbell, Kenneth (Brenda) Campbell, Melanie Johnson, Jeff (Sharon) Lewis, and Dan (Rhonda) Lewis, aunt, Charlene Eddy, many nieces, nephews, and beloved church family at Lakeland.  He was preceded in death by his siblings: Curtis, Kelvin, Russ and Bonnie Campbell, Steve and Andy Lewis, many aunts and uncles. 

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Lakeland Community Church, N3181 WI-67 Lake Geneva, WI.  Visitation will be 12:00PM until service time Saturday at the church.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Family Fund at Lakeland Community Church.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
