Dale Edward Meinen

Dale Edward Meinen: 67, of Sandy Lane Elkhorn, died unexpectedly at home Tuesday January 30, 2018.   Dale was born April 29, 1950 in Waukesha, WI.  He was the son of the late Raymond and Betty (Gerber) Meinen.  On December 11, 1971, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Percente.  Dale enjoyed fishing, playing cards and billiards.  He loved playing games and spending time with his grandchildren, playing baseball and rooting for the Chicago Cubs. Dale is survived by his wife Mary Jane, Four children: Michael (Kelly) Meinen of Elkhorn,  Deborah (John) Young of Delavan, Robert (Lora) Meinen of Elkhorn and Jaimie (David) Bennett of Lake Geneva, Sixteen grandchildren: Taylor, Tanner, Michala, Tyler (Barbara), Todd, Kristen, Jenna, Macie, Braden, Avery, Kenny, Hailey, T.J., J.J., Christy and Lexi.  One great-grandchild Paisley.  Dale is further survived by his siblings: Donald (Laura) Meinen of Delavan, Cathy (Donald) Lee of Burlington, Elaine Sennett of Delavan, Linda (Dan) Willard of Kenosha and Harvey (Mary) Meinen of Burlington and by a host of other relatives and friends.  Memorial service will be 5:00 PM Saturday February 3, 2018 at Como Community Church W3901 Palmer Road Lake Geneva, WI with Pastor Bob Kamps officiating.  Visitation will be at the church from 4:00 PM until time of service.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.    The Meinen family was assisted by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI.
