David P. Prowitz

David P. Prowitz, 52 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.  He was born October 7, 1969 in Illinois, the son of the late Paul and Karen (Berg) Prowitz.  Dave was united in marriage to Jennifer L. Dascher on July 22, 2000 at St. John’s Military Academy in Delafield, WI.  He worked for over 23 years at Camp Timber-lee in East Troy, WI.  Dave loved to be outdoors, whether he was hiking or camping.  He was a volunteer weather spotter for the National Weather Service.  Dave and Jen are both members of Lakeland Community Church in Lake Geneva, WI.  He enjoyed ham radio and has made many friends over the years through the ham community.  Dave was a loving and devoted husband and father.  He loved his daughters dearly and enjoyed their personalities, especially what he referred to as “Hattie-isms”.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Jen, their two daughters, Olivia and Hattie, three siblings; Dan (Deb) Prowitz, Vikki (Nic) McJannet and Sungwon (Pat) Chi, sister-in-law, Stephanie (Dave) LaCasse, 5 nephews and niece; Katy Mc Jannet, Patrick Chi, DJ, Lucas and Sam LaCasse.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Lakeland Community Church, N3181 WI-67 Lake Geneva, WI, with Pastor Jeff Hendrychs officiating.  Visitation will be 9:00AM until service time Thursday at church. Interment will follow services at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Elkhorn, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to Camp Timber-lee, N8705 Scout Rd.
