Delores M. (Long) Olivas

Delores M. Olivas, 92 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Williams Bay Health Services.  She was born May 2, 1931, in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter of the late Louis and Hilma (Lundstrom) Long.  Delores was united in marriage in 1956 to Tomas Olivas.  She was a member of Millard Community Covenant Church and enjoyed weekly lady’s lunches.  Delores cherished her many years running an in-home daycare for numerous families in our community.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed embroidery.  Delores loved all the Wisconsin Sport teams including, the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks, Green Bay Packers, and the Wisconsin Badgers. 

Delores is survived by her two children: Tony (Janelle) Olivas and Michelle (Allen) Nathan, and granddaughter, Angelique (Mason) Olivas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tomas, and two siblings Ron and Marjorie.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time on Thursday.  Interment will follow services at Millard Cemetery.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
