Donna Probst Obituary

Donna Joyce (nee Jones) Probst, of Twin Lakes, WI, passed peacefully in the afternoon of January 9th, 2022, while relaxing with her favorite memories and favorite song, Amazing Grace.

As a child, Donna grew up in Milwaukee, went to school there, and traveled to Chicago, IL to take Vogue fashion classes. She met her husband of 26 years there, and moved to a quiet town called Forest Glen. There she raised a loving family of four boys and girl.

Donna Probst was one of the most hardworking, generous, and soulful people anyone could ever hope to know. Her death leaves a hole in this world that can be filled only by giving of ourselves to help others as she so often did. In this spirit, the family welcomes donations to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.

Mother to Kerry Gerlach, Steve Probst (Grace Hannon), Darrell Probst (Steve McIntosh). Adoring grandmother to Gregg (Tatyana) Knapp, Ken (Olga) Knapp, Jeff (Hilary) Knapp, Lisa (Petro) Giannakopolis, Teagan Probst, Collin Probst, Racquel Probst. Loving great-grandma to Dino, Maks, Nova, Soren, Aerith, Kaladin, Sofia, Edye, Ava. Mother-in-law to Kim Probst. Sister-in-law to Joyce Jones. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

In death, she reunites with her parents, Adeline and Russell Jones, her sons, William Scott Probst, Ronald Elliott Probst, and Jeffrey Probst, grandson, Michael James Knapp, as well as her brother, Warren Jones.

At Donna’s request, there will be a memorial service held in the summer of 2022. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is assisting the family.
