Dorothy R. (Scholz) Ives

Dorothy Ruth Ives, age 81 of Bloomfield, WI, died Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020. Daughter of the late Emanuel and Viola Scholz, Dorothy was born in Rib Lake, WI on January 6th, 1939. Dorothy was united in marriage to the late William Ives on November 2nd, 1981 in Elkhorn, WI. During her life, she was self-employed, cleaning homes in the Nippersink area where she resided. Dorothy was a born and bred Wisconsinite who loved the Green Bay Packers (even when she was mad at them), enjoyed a cold Miller Lite, and was an avid bowler. Dorothy was on a ladies’ bowling league and even competed in tournaments. Later in life she enjoyed watching the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, though her greatest passion during her golden years was being a grandma. She was the best babysitter.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Tracy Ives (Justin Woods); son Jeff Pennycuff; grandchildren Essie, Christina, Justin, and Athena; 3 great-grandchildren; and her brother Ed (Karen) Scholz. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William; her son John Pennycuff; and her siblings Clarence (Marlene) Scholz, Mary (Tom) Turner, and Margaret Ruby.

Friends and family are invited for a visitation on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 from 4:00PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 620 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes, WI 53181. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we can only accommodate 50 people in the building at any given time, and we ask you to please adhere to social distancing guidelines. Masks are required for those not exempt. Please be mindful of time spent inside the building to allow all mourners to visit and express their sympathies.
