Edmund H Schneider Jr.

Edmund H Schneider Jr. age 89 of Bristol, WI. died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 20, 2024.  He was born in Chicago, IL on October 27, 1934.  The son of the late Edmund and Ann (May) Schneider Sr.  On September 20, 1956, in San Pablo, CA he was united in marriage to Betty A. Moore they have been married for 67 years.   Edmund served during the Korean War for the United States Air Force. 

During his retirement years he lived in South Carolina and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Prosperity, South Carolina.  He served his church by going on missionary work and disaster relief in Jordan, Israel, Jerusalem, Africa, and Iraq.   They then moved to Wisconsin where his favorite pastime was racing Sprint Cars and Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, WI.  Edmund was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. 

Survived by his wife Betty.  Father to Vickie (Ted) Wember, Debi Schneider and Eddy (Tammy) Schneider III Grandfather of 7, Great Grandfather of 11 and Great Great Grandfather of 4.  Further survived by his brother Jimmy May.  He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Schneider, sisters Jackie Schneider and Jerrie Stiles and nephew Robbie Schneider.

Committal Services with Military Honors will take place on Monday April 15, 2024 at 3:00PM  at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
