Edward J. Kulpa, age 67 of Chicago, IL and Bristol, WI (Lake Shangrila) died Wednesday evening July 27, 2016 at the Aurora Medical Center-Kenosha.
Edward Joseph Kulpa was born on October 4, 1948 in Altenstadt, Germany, the son of the late Zofia Kulpa and Joseph Rutkowski. He came to the United States as a young boy. He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps from February 28, 1966 until discharge on February 27, 1969. He served in Vietnam and earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal and Vietnamese Campaign Medal.
Edward worked as a service engineer for the ITW Hi-Cone Company for 35 years. Edward enjoyed electronics and fishing.
Edward is survived by: 1 son-Richard Kulpa of Virginia; 1 daughter-Jennifer Dennison of Romeoville, IL; 2 grandchildren-Emily and Joshua Dennison; 1 sister Mary (Peter) Storce-Klepaida of The Woodlands, TX; 1 niece Justine Storce; gr. niece-Jade Dalton; 2 gr. gr. nieces-Gwen Alexander and Veda Dalton and 1 gr. gr. nephew-Beck Dalton
A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday August 2, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.
