Enedina (Sandoval) Fonseca

Enedina Fonseca, 80 of Elkhorn, WI, died on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her son’s home in Lake Geneva.  She was born January 4, 1941 in San José de Otates, Mexico, the daughter to Inez and Crecencia(Soto) Sandoval.  Enedina was united in marriage to Jose Carmen Fonseca on October 31, 1958 in San José de Otates, Mexico.  She enjoyed flower gardening, knitting and cooking.  Enedina loved her family dearly and spending time with all of them. 

Enedina is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jose, eight children; Rafael Fonseca, Jaime (Olga) Fonseca, Jorge (Tammy) Fonseca, Martin (Luz Maria) Fonseca, Carmen Fonseca, Juana (Chris) Fonseca, Jesus (Gabriela) Fonseca and Ruben (Tonya) Fonseca, twenty-three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and four siblings; Rosa Sandoval, Juan (Hermila) Sandoval, Maria Sandoval and Ester Sandoval.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Reynaldo Sandoval and Carmen Sandoval.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, WI, with Fr. Oriol Regales officiating. Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Wednesday at the church.  Interment will follow services at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Elkhorn, WI. Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
