Ernest W. Fleischer

Ernest W. Fleischer age 80 of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.

Ernest William Fleischer was born in Chicago, IL, on January, 1942, the son of the late Ernest F. and Beatrice (Rasmussen) Fleischer.  On March 9, 1963 in Lake Geneva, WI, Ernest was united in marriage to Judith S. Hammarstrom.

Ernest owned and operated Ernie’s Service in Genoa City, WI for 38 years.  He was a member of the Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Dept. for 25 years. He was the Snowmobile Trail Coordinator for Walworth County for 15 years.

He had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed bowling, golfing and motorcycle riding.  He was a Chicago Bears fan and Cubs fan.

Ernest is survived by: his Wife, Judith (Judy); son, John (Sue Keisler) Fleischer of Burlington, WI and daughter Brenda(Erik) Draaijer of Washoington; 2 grandchildren, Cody (Brandy) Fleischer and Ashley (Simo) Benyamina; 2 great grandchildren, Naseem and Annabelle; 1 sister, Bonnie (Rob) Crisman of Elkhorn, WI and a step brother, Jim (Diana) Ksiazyk of Hayward, WI.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Skip Hammarstrom and sister-in-law Jean Hammarstrom.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on July 30, 2022 at the farm  W1610 Hwy B  Genoa City, WI. The family will have a gathering of friends to follow from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at the farm.  The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City is serving the Fleischer Family.
