Frank Eugene Kuehner, age 86, of Aurora, IL, died on Friday, July 9th, 2021. Son of the late Frank and Josephine (Manfredi) Kuehner, Frank was born on June 16, 1935, in Auburn, IL. He graduated from Joliet Township High School in 1953. A jack of all trades, Frank held many jobs over the years, though he spent the majority of his life as the owner of a wholesale bakery that supplied products to White Hen Pantry stores. During his life one of his favorite hobbies was boxing, and he even won a golden gloves championship when he was younger and put together several boxing shows at Joliet Catholic High School. Frank loved to swim, was an expert skier, a tennis player and ping pong extraordinaire. He also loved aviation and often reminisced about flying his Mooney plane to Canada. Frank liked to travel around the United States and Europe, and had visited England, Germany, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. He enjoyed action and western films, rifles and hunting, growing vegetables in his yard, and would chat or joke with absolutely anyone. Frank was always laughing, whistling, or singing and will be greatly missed by those that loved him.
Frank is survived by his children, Martin “Marty” R. Govednik, Terri L. (Richard) Cecchini, Robert “Robby” F. Kuehner, Anthony “Tony” E. (Sara) Kuehner, and Christina A.
