John R Olinger

John R. Olinger, 67 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Aurora Summit Medical Center.  He was born July 13, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Michael and Lucille (Wons) Olinger.  John was united in marriage to Jeannie M. Thelen on July 3, 1976 in Elkhorn, WI.  He owned and operated J,J & S Trucking in Elkhorn, WI.  John loved classic cars and tinkering on anything with an engine.  

John is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Jeannie, two children; Sarah (Matt Cartwright) Olinger and Jonathan (Rachel) Olinger, granddaughter, Evelyn Olinger, brother, Michael (Dianna) Olinger and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Lucy Puhl, Cheryl Keys and Patty Olinger and brother, Paul Olinger.

Memorial Service will be 1:00PM on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be 11:00AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
