Josef Farkaschek Obituary

Josef Farkaschek, age 95 of Genoa City, WI, died Friday Aug. 3, 2018 at the Atrium Post Acute Care of Williams Bay, WI.

Josef was born on July 18, 1923 in Yugoslavia the son of the late Franz and Maria Andraschek Farkaschek. On April 25, 1950, at City Hall in Austria, Joseph was united in marriage to Maria C. Weindl. They were remarried on April 1, 1955 in a church in Austria, so they could immigtrate to the United States. Maria preceded him in death on January 22, 2013.

Josef worked as a print operator for a printing company in Chicago. They moved to Genoa City, 15 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching John Wayne movies and wrestling.

Josef is survived by: a daughter, Maria Lamczyk of Genoa City, WI; a granddaughter, Gabriela Farkaschek and a great granddaughter, Nicolette Farkaschek. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Farkas.

Private Family services will be held. The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City is serving the Farkaschek Family.
