Joyce Louise (Jacobs) Lockwood Aspinall

Joyce Louise Lockwood Aspinall, 91 of Lake Geneva, WI, died Wednesday August 25, 2021 Golden Years in Lake Geneva, WI.  She was born October 24, 1929 in Lake Geneva, WI, the daughter to the late Louis and Elsie (Mellien) Jacobs.  Joyce graduated Class of 1947 from Lake Geneva High School.  Joyce was united in marriage to LaVerne H. Lockwood on September 17, 1949 in Elkhorn, WI. LaVerne preceded Joyce in death on March 5, 1993.  On June 17, 1995, she married William F. Aspinall at Millard Community Church in Elkhorn, WI.  Joyce was very blessed to have not one but two great loves in her life.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 26 years, William Aspinall, two sons; Steve (JoAnne) Lockwood and Tim (Mary) Lockwood, four step-children; Kathi (Alan) Bosworth, Dale (Jessica) Aspinall, Neal (Karen) Aspinall and Audrey (Raymond) Young, six grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren; Steven (Kathy), Robert (Tricia), Alex (Shauna), Daniel (Tracey), Drew (Megan) and Megan Lockwood, Becky (Peter) Harmon, Nikki Rowell, Camille, Alyssa, Zachary, Drew (Samantha), Colin and Paige Aspinall, thirteen great-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren; Connor, Cole, Chase, Josh, Olivia, Jack, Ben, Beckham, Brooks, Declan, Claire and Grace, Maximus, Violet, Austin, Joanna, Jamie and Jared. She is also survived by her sister-in-law; Nancy (Dennis) Bills and brother-in-law; Gary (Cheryl) Lockwood and by a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, LaVerne Lockwood and her sister, Joan (S.C. “Bob”) Messina.

Funeral Service will be 12:00PM on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor Steve Buchanan officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joyce’s name to Lakeland Animal Shelter, P.O.
