Lance F. Hampton

Lance Frederick Hampton, age 53, of Randall, WI, died on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital following a long illness. Son of the late Leonard Victor Hampton and of Sylvia Daisy Leopard, Lance was born on April 26, 1969, in Chicago, IL. During his life, he worked as a cabinet maker. Lance was a very active person who enjoyed many hobbies. He loved fishing, snowmobiling, and four-wheeling and made trips “up north” to Eagle River and Hurley to enjoy the outdoors. Lance played soccer for many years and liked to watch sports of all kinds on TV. Lance especially enjoyed being a “smart-ass” to his friends and family, and his great sense of humor will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.   

Lance is survived by his mother, Sylvia D. Hampton; wife, Barbara Eterno; children, Nicole (Olivia) Hampton, Chad Hampton, and Ashley (Evan Richter) Hampton; stepchildren, Bryan (Lauren) Eterno, Brooke (Adam Kirchenwitz) Eterno, and Kenny (Karli) Eterno; grandchildren, Scarlett, Bennett, Juliette, Truett, and Lily; and brother, Leonard (Pattie) Hampton. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard V. Hampton; and sister, Lynette Hampton.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 620 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes, WI, 53181. Following the visitation, all are invited to a lunch and continued celebration of life at Donovan’s Reef, 611 Rink Ave, Twin Lakes, from 1:00PM until 4:00PM.
