Laura G Deroeck

Laura G. Deroeck age 86 of Elkhorn, WI died October 17, 2023.  She was born on April 30, 1937.  The daughter of the late Gerald and Edith (Shampine) Sitkoski.  She was united in marriage to Wayne Meyer and Stanley Deroeck, both preceded her in death. 

Laura was a member of the Chippewa Indian Tribe.   She enjoyed Crocheting on her personal time and has Crocheted blankets for her family along with donating blankets for Newborn babies at local hospital She also enjoyed doing puzzles and playing Bingo.  Laura was a devoted donator to Just  BoysTown, Wounded Warriors, and numerous other charities.  

Survived by her children: Dawn Meyer, Connie (Jeff) Wright and Scott (Tammy) Meyer.   Sister to Gerald (Debbie) Sitkoski and Sherri Carroll.   Grandmother to Kristin, Nathen, Chantal, Alisha, Brittaney, Diamond, Allen, Jared, Isaac, Nicholas, and Casey.   Great Grandmother to Brayden, Aiden, Christopher, Camdin, Aaliyah, Zariah, Chandler, Elijah, Kinzley, Declan, Brixton, and Layla. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023, at 10:00AM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 113 Freeman St.  Genoa City, WI.  Visitation will be from 9:00AM until the time of services.  Inurnment will follow at McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock, IL.  Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.   The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Genoa City, WI is honored to serve the Deroeck family.
