Lois A. (Perry) Powell

Lois A. Powell, 91 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn, WI. She was born May 30, 1932, the daughter of the late William and Emma (Snyder) Perry.  Lois was united in marriage to Howard K. Powell on May 17, 1950 in Woodstock, IL.  She was a lifelong member of the VFW Auxiliary, Walworth County Stamp Club and the first Superintendent of Antique Show at Walworth County Fair. Lois cooked weekly for luncheons for Elkhorn Kiwanis and Elkhorn Rotary Club. In May of 2015, she enjoyed the Vets Roll Trip to Washington D.C. as a Rosie. Lois and Howard owned and operated the Powell’s Antique Shop for 31 years.

Lois is survived by her two daughters, Marguerite “Maggie” Powell of Waukegan, IL and Priscilla (Robert) Fleig of Cedar Hill, MO, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 70 years, Howard.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM (Noon) Friday, November 17, 2023 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.  Entombment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holton Manor or Gentiva Hospice.  Online guestbook at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
