Mary (Cwierz) Opryszek

Mary Opryszek age 93 of Twin Lakes, WI. Died July 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.   She was born in Poland on February 16, 1925.  The daughter of the late Walter and Antoinette (Wierciak) Cwierz.   On July 29, 1950 in Chicago, IL. She was united in marriage to Mitchell Opryszek who preceded her in death on June 2, 2008.  During her life she was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Twin Lakes, WI. 

Mary is survived by her three children: Ronald (Diane) Opryszek of McHenry, IL. Sharon Opryszek of Glenview, IL., and Michele (Dale) Giettings of Key West, FL. Grandmother to Lauren and Joshua.  Step-Grandmother to Michael, Stacey, Crystal, Nancy and Jessica.  Step-Great Grandmother to Austin, D.J., Illy, Anna, Nayeli, and Mia.  Further survived by her sister Josephine (Steve) Cobb of Volo, IL.   She was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell and Daughter Diane.  

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. John’s Catholic Church 701 N. Lake Ave.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Burial will follow in parish cemetery.   Visitation will be held on Friday July 13, 2018 from 4:00PM to 9:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Memorials in Mary’s name may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation PO Box 515 Northampton, MA. 01061.  Online condolences may be made at Haaselockwoodfhs.com.
