Michael "Moose" James Berg

Michael “Moose” J. Berg, 62 of Fort Atkinson, WI formerly of Elkhorn, WI, died Monday, May 25, 2020 in Fort Atkinson, WI.  He was born December 15, 1957 in Shawano, WI, the son of the late Raymond and Freda (Bruce) Berg.  Moose graduated from Elkhorn High School with the Class of 1976. He worked for Holton Instruments for 30 years in Elkhorn until he retired in 2008. Moose loved to play softball and played on many teams with the Elkhorn Moose League.  He was loving son, brother, uncle and good friend to many.

Moose is survived by his twin brother, Joseph (Susan) Berg of East Troy, WI, two sisters; Christine Mitchell of Elkhorn, WI and Kathleen (Les) Otto of Borring, OR, many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert “Bob” Berg.

Memorial service will be 6:00PM on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor Don Peck officiating.  Visitation will be 4:00PM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.  Private inurnment will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery in Elkhorn, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Autism Speaks, 3500 W.
