Nico Franz Hartzheim

Nico F. Hartzheim, 50 passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his home in Delavan.  He was born November 30, 1969 in Elklhorn, WI, to loving parents Michael and Susan (LaRue) Hartzheim.  Nico married Heather E. Kraft on February 23, 2002 in Delavan, WI and soon celebrated the lives of his children Nikita and Calli Hartzheim, his pride and joy. He worked as a Parts Manager at Elkhorn Motors for 22 years and went above and beyond all expectations.  He was a devoted member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Elkhorn, WI. He attended for over 15 years and dedicated his life to serving the lord. Nico was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend.  He was a car enthusiast and spent countless hours at Union Grove’s Great Lakes Dragaway, either in the stands, competing for fun or supporting his friends from the sidelines.  He enjoyed the simple things in life such as watching football with friends and family, Saturday morning donut runs and sitting under the eaves watching thunderstorms.

Nico is reunited with his mother Susan Hartzheim, but leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Heather, his two children; Nikita and Calli, his father, Michael Hartzheim, and his siblings; Andrea (Adam) Brendemuehl, Chris Hartzheim and Heather Balliet and  a host of other relatives and friends.   A celebration and recollection of Nico Hartzheim’s life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 920 Hwy H Elkhorn, WI 53121 with Rev.
