Patricia "Pat" A. (Share) Ludtke

Patricia “Pat” A. Ludtke, 90, of Elkhorn, WI, died Sunday, January 5, 2020 at St. Clair Hospital in Baraboo, WI.  She was born May 19, 1929 in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter to the late Fred and Lillian (Baltzer) Share.  Pat graduated Elkhorn High School Class of 1947.  She married Willis Ludtke on September 8, 1951 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Elkhorn, WI.  Willis preceded her in death on July 7, 2012 after 60 years of marriage.  Pat was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where she sang with the traditional choir for over 70 years.  She was the Town Clerk from 1988 to 2005 for the Town of Lafayette.  Pat was an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan.  She also enjoyed playing cards.  Pat was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by her three children; William (Ellen) Ludtke of Elkhorn, WI, Jeannine (Russ) Saari of Elkhorn, WI and Larry (Juanita) Ludtke of Baraboo, WI, nine grandchildren; Melanie Ludtke, Jeremiah and Joshua Thompson, Jasmine and Brogan Ludtke, Dustin Palenshus, Megan Leroy, Russ and Matthew Saari; twelve great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Karen Share of Elkhorn, WI, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willis, son-in-law Steve Palenshus, grandson Monte Thompson, two sisters Imogene Atkinson Keats and Esther Piper and her brother Jerry Share.

Memorial Mass will be 11:00AM on Monday, January 13, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 107 W Walworth St. Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Monday at Church.  Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Elkhorn, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pat’s name to St. Patrick’s Traditional Choir.
