Reginald "Bill" Wm. Marshall, 89, of Elkhorn, WI passed on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at Mercy Walworth Hospital in Lake Geneva, WI.
Bill was born in Barnet, Finchley, England on September 30th, 1930, the son of the late Reginald and Florence (Stephens) Marshall.
Bill was previously married to Sheila Waters, who gave him his two eldest children, Debbie and Steve.
He was then united in marriage with Liane Rae Traeder in August of 1982 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, who gave him two more daughters, Gabrielle and Jacqueline.
Bill was employed for twenty years as a Supervisor for In-Flight Services with Air Canada.
In 1983, Bill and Liane moved back to Liane's home state of Wisconsin where they started Lake Geneva Photo Graphic in Lake Geneva, WI, which they owned and operated until Bill's retirement in 2002.
Bill was an avid reader who loved spending time at any library. He also enjoyed listening and watching public television and radio, frequenting auctions, rummage sales and flea markets, to fill his and Liane's home with books, records and any other "treasures" he could find.
Bill is survived by his wife of almost 38 years, Liane and his four children: Debbie (Alan) Chevalier of Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada; Steve (Maisie) Marshall of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; Gabrielle Marshall and Jacqueline Marshall both of Elkhorn, WI. Along with six grandchildren: Andrew Chevalier, Carly (Nick) Fernandes, Armond Marshall-Agnew, Gavin and Jhenna Marshall-Pausch, and Ashton Marshall-Heyob; and one great-grandson; Nathan Fernandes. Bill is also survived by several nieces and nephews living in England and Canada. Bill was preceded in death by his two sisters; Sheila and Eileen and his brother Ken.
Bill's life will be celebrated at a date to be announced at the City of Elkhorn Community Center from 1-4pm located in the Matheson Memorial Library (please use the separate entrance), 101 N. Wisconsin Street.
The Marshall family would like to thank the AMAZING team of doctors and nurses at Mercy Walworth Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of our loved one, along with the wonderful team at Elkhorn EMS, who frequented the house in Bill's last months. We will forever be thankful for ALL you do.
