Robert Kenneth Schenning

Robert K. Schenning age 74 of Delavan, WI and formerly of Silver Lake, WI. died Friday morning November 6, 2015 at the Rainbow Hospice Care in Johnson Creek, WI.

Robert Kenneth Schenning was born on December 5, 1940 in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Fred and Elsie Schwartz Schenning.  On October 9, 1971 in Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, WI, Robert was united in marriage to Kathleen Ruth Dorey.  Kathleen preceded him in death on February 22, 2005.  He lived in Salem and Silver Lake before moving to Elkhorn and then to Delavan 5 years ago.

Robert worked as an assembler for the Chrysler Corp. in Kenosha for 29 years, where he was a member of the UAW Local #72.  Robert was a proud firefighter for the Silver Lake Fire Dept. for 30 years.  He was a member of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, WI.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Robert is survived by:  1 daughter-Jennifer (John) Wolfgram of Genoa City, WI; 1 son-Jeff (Maureen Mauser) of Kenosha, WI; 2 grandchildren-Joshua and Emilyane; 2 sisters-Shirley (Rodney) Moster of Silver Lake, WI and Dolores Klen of Burlington, WI; 3 brothers-Gordon Schenning of Burlington, WI, Ronald (Bonnie) Schenning of Burlington, WI and Dennis Schenning of Viola, WI.   

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers-Jerry and David Schenning.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00PM Monday Nov. 9, 2015 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes, WI. with Pastor James S. Fischer of Peace Ev.
