Robert K. Turner Sr.

Robert K. Turner Sr. 74 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at his home.  He was born September 25, 1948, in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Kay E. and Agnes J. (Lapak) Turner.  Bob enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was fishing, shooting sporting clays or out on the golf course. If he wasn’t outdoors, you could find him in the garage working on cars. He loved animals and had a special place in his heart for dogs.

Bob was an entrepreneur at heart and owned several businesses, including a printing company, accounting company and most recently was a partner in memory care and assisted living facilities.

Bob is survived by his fiancé, Christine Michalek, two children: Robert (Kimberly) Turner Jr. and Tamara Turner, three stepchildren: Christopher (Michelle) Michalek, Matthew Michalek and Morgan (James) Deng, five grandchildren: Brayden, Kira, Amanda, James and Landon, three step-grandchildren: Braden, Tyler and Charlie, brother, Larry (Brenda) Turner, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Nancy (Jerry) Hernandez.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, 4300 Green Bay Rd. Kenosha, WI 53144. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Bob’s name to Wisconsin Humane Society, 7811 60th Ave. Kenosha, WI 53142.
