Ronald F Oldenburg

Ronald Frederick Oldenburg age 69 of Salem, WI.  Passed Away January 18, 2016 at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home Boland Hall in Union Grove, WI.   He was born in Burlington, WI. on August 25, 1946. The son of the late Frederick and Viola (Kanis) Oldenburg.    He worked at the Great Lakes Naval Station as a Firefighter.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  Ronald was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Wilmot, WI.   He was a member of Wilmot Fire Dept for over 35 years.  Ron was also a member of the Silver Lake Legion and VFW and the Silver Lake Sportsman Club.  He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing. 

Ronald is survived by his 3 children: Kimberly (Cory) Wohlrab, Kristi (James) Lejcar, Kyle (Carrie) Oldenburg.  His significant other: Karen Faber.  Stepchildren: Jim Faber and Michelle Cooper.  Brother Gale “Chubs” (Pam) Oldenburg.  Further survived by 9 Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother Dale Oldenburg and Sister Joyce Oldenburg. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 23, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.   The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice Care 2675 N.
