I knew Ryan from my years at Carroll. We had many interactions between our mutual involvement in Greek life on campus and service to residence life. Ryan was a great guy, so kind and funny. I'm sure he was as much an influence at Carthage as he was at Carroll. My deepest sympathies to his wife Jen and their young sons and to his family and friends. I know many of the Carroll family will be grieving his loss.

Jen... We are so sorry to hear about Ryan. I Feel terrible that we are unable to be there Thursday or Friday to give you a hug. Ryan was a true inspiration to me as a student at Carthage. He is the reason I ended up getting my masters degree in SPA and I will be forever greatfuk that I had the opportunity to be mentored by him.

I first met Ryan when he was a student at Carroll, and I advised Greek Life. He was a thoughtful and kind person, taken from us way too soon. My condolences to his family and friends.
