Steven M. Kriofsky passed away on Saturday May 8, 2021 at the age of 58 after a courageous fight with cancer. He is survived his mother Peggy Dahlke Lydic, brothers David (Donna) Kriofsky and Jeff Stieg and special loving friend Chuck Wagner. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Kriofsky Sr, Brother Ken Kriofsky Jr and Stepfather Russ Stieg.
Steve grew up in the Powers Lake area and managed the American Legion bar in Genoa City before moving to the Chicago area where he worked in mortgage banking and for Abbott Labs. Steve returned to Wisconsin, settling in the Oak Creek-Franklin area where he worked as a supervisor for the Pilot Fuel Stop and most recently for Aurora Health Care. He was a loving, caring son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 5, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 113 Freeman St. Genoa City, WI. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until the time of services. Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.
