Thomas M. Rogers

Thomas M. Rogers; 62,  Evanston, IL, formerly of Elkhorn, WI, died Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital Grand Rapids, MI.  Tom was born December 23, 1959, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of the late Dr. Richard and Donna (Rice) Rogers.  Tom graduated from Elkhorn Area High School with the Class of 1978 and then graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Civil Engineering and Computer Science.  On June 25, 2004, Tom was united in marriage to Brooke M. Fair in Evanston, IL.  Tom worked as a software engineer for Options Clearing Corporation in Chicago, IL, for twenty-two years.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking and birdwatching with his family, going to the cabin in Michigan, cooking and going to the opera with his family and attending concerts and plays that his daughter Amelia performed in.  Tom will be greatly missed by his wife of 17 years, Brooke and his sixteen-year-old daughter Amelia, both of Evanston, IL, as well as by his siblings Marybeth (James) White, Richard (Patricia Zinzow) Rogers, and William “Bill” Rogers, all of Elkhorn, WI. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law Cindy Tabor-Rogers.  A celebration of Tom’s life will be held from 1:00PM to 4:00PM on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Evergreen Golf Club Pavilion, N 6246 US-12 Elkhorn, WI.  A Prayer Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday led by Pastor Tom DeGroot  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.  Arrangements completed by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI.
