William "Bill" Ludebeck

William “Bill” Ludebeck Jr. 91, of Elkhorn, WI died Wednesday June 24, 2020 at Holton Manor Nursing Home Elkhorn, WI.  He was born June 19, 1929 in Beloit, WI the son of the late William “Bill” and Margaret “Marge” (Helms) Ludebeck.  Bill graduated from Beloit High School with the class of 1947.  He enlisted in the United States Navy and served four years.  Bill was united in marriage to Peggy Ann Mann on September 29, 1951 in Elkhorn, WI.  He worked for over 39 years as a heavy equipment operator for Mann Bros.  Bill was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.  He enjoyed spending his time outdoors and was an avid fisherman.  Bill was a member of the Operator and Engineer Union Local 139.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Peggy, two sons, Robert Ludebeck of Elkhorn, WI and William Ludebeck of La Crosse, WI, grandson, Cody Ludebeck of Elkhorn, WI and by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna (Jim) Jenson.
