We met Charlie 7 years ago discussing an addition we wanted to build at our cottage. Then a vacant property came up for sale and Charlie encouraged us to buy it and build new. We followed Charlie's advise and a big project started. He helped us a lot making our dreams come true. Thank you Charlie! Many meetings with him made us appreciate him and his great work and his patients with us was just incredible. We met Charlie again in July this year in our house and he mentioned he was planning a surgery. We just heard today of his passing and are very sad about this.

I am so saddened by Charlie's passing. He was a great friend and I have many fond memories of him. I'm grateful I had a chance to see the beautiful home he designed for Bill and Janet and to have dinner with him at Holi Cannoli a couple of years ago. As always, he was witty and fun to be with. My prayers are for you to be comforted at this difficult time.

Dear Nancy and Peter and families,
I was sorry to read about Charlie! I’m glad that I got to see him last fall. My earliest memory of Charlie was on the front lawn of your parents’ home when he and the Kaufman boys were wrestling as teenagers. I was only about 5 and all those big guys “fighting” made quite a lasting impression! This seems too soon for you to lose a sibling. I know the shock and loss of companionship this brings. My condolences to all of you.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We graduated from HS and Marquette University at the same time. He was very intelligent and kind. Be at peace, Bill.

We were so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. It was a great pleasure to know him-so friendly and THE MASTER of trivia. We will miss you, sir.

So sorry for your loss. We loved Charlie! He was the architect for Victorian Village and Victorian Country in Woodstock, Illinois. He was also a very witty part of our symposiums. Rest in Peace. You will be greatly missed.
